Affordable Pearl Reactive Length and Backend
About the Brunswick Fury Pink/Ice/Silver
The Brunswick Fury Pink/Ice/Silver delivers genuine reactive performance at a price that fits any bag. Positioned between the Rhino and the Danger Zone lines, the Fury bridges the gap between Brunswick’s entry-level and mid-performance equipment. It is an exceptional first reactive ball for newer bowlers, and a dependable option for experienced players who want controllable length on lighter oil and drier lanes.
This colorway pairs the symmetric Fury core with the PowerKoil 26 Pearl Reactive cover, so it clears the front of the lane cleanly and saves its energy for a stronger, more responsive move on the backend. It is the look to reach for when you want length and a defined finish.
Understanding the Brunswick Fury Core and Brunswick PowerKoil 26 Pearl Reactive
Brunswick built the Fury to give bowlers real reactive performance at a price that fits any bag. The symmetric Fury core delivers a smooth, readable roll, while the Brunswick PowerKoil 26 Pearl Reactive cover controls how the ball gets down the lane and how hard it finishes. At 15 lb the core measures an RG of 2.524 and a differential of .038, numbers that produce a balanced, all-purpose shape with moderate, manageable flare. The full per-weight numbers are listed below.
A Symmetric Core Tuned for Smooth, All-Purpose Motion
At the heart of every Fury is the symmetric Fury core. In the heavier weights it carries a low, stable RG and a moderate differential (2.524 RG and .038 differential at 15 lb), a number set that produces a predictable, readable shape: enough flare to clear the oil, but never so much that the ball over-reacts. That balance is exactly what makes the Fury easy to throw for a newer bowler and dependable for an experienced one.
In the lighter 8 to 11 lb weights, Brunswick uses a purpose-built core tuned for those weights, so younger and lower-speed bowlers still get a true reactive reaction instead of a watered-down one. Because the core is symmetric, the Fury is forgiving of layout and easy to match to your game, a big part of why it works so well as a first reactive ball.
A Pearl Reactive Cover Built for Clean Length and Backend
Wrapping the Fury core is the PowerKoil 26 Pearl Reactive coverstock. The pearl additive lets the ball save energy through the heads and store it for the backend, so you get clean length up front and a strong, responsive move off the friction. Polished at 500, 1000, 2000 Siaair / Crown Factory Compound, it is built for medium to drier lanes where you want length and a defined, skid/flip finish.
