Description

Brunswick Infinity Quest Pearl — Clean Length with Explosive Backend Continuation

The Brunswick Infinity Quest Pearl Blue Pink Bowling Ball delivers explosive skid-flip motion with enhanced length and backend continuation. Featuring the HK22C – EVO Pearl coverstock with a shiny factory finish (500, 1000, 1500 Siaair / Crown Factory Compound), this ball pushes easily through the front of the lane while creating a sharp, angular breakpoint downlane.

Additionally, the proven Infinity Core provides the dynamic backend reaction bowlers love from the original Infinity Quest. However, the Pearl version delivers cleaner motion through the heads and more continuous drive through the pins. Performance rating: 82 (High / Flip category) on Brunswick’s Ball Performance Index.

Available in 16-12 lbs with weight-specific core dynamics. Two-year manufacturer’s warranty from purchase date. Perfect for bowlers who need easy length and strong skid-flip motion on medium-light to medium oil conditions. Ships free with no minimum purchase.

💎 HK22C – EVO Pearl Coverstock — Clean Through the Front

The HK22C – EVO Pearl coverstock represents Brunswick’s latest evolution in pearl reactive technology. This advanced formulation pushes easily through the front of the lane with minimal friction. The pearl additives create a smooth, clean read through the heads and midlane.

Compared to the original Infinity Quest’s solid coverstock, the Pearl version reduces midlane hook. This allows the ball to conserve energy for a more explosive backend reaction. Additionally, the pearl formulation handles carrydown better than solid coverstocks. The ball doesn’t labor through oil in the track area.

The shiny factory finish enhances the pearl coverstock’s length characteristics. The 500, 1000, 1500 Siaair progression creates a smooth surface. Moreover, Crown Factory Compound polish adds shine that reduces friction in oil. Consequently, the ball clears the front part of the lane effortlessly.

The HK22C – EVO Pearl creates a sharp breakpoint at the end of the pattern. The ball stores energy through the front and midlane. Then it releases that energy explosively when encountering friction. This creates the angular, skid-flip motion that defines modern high-performance bowling balls.

🎯 Infinity Core — Proven Dynamic Backend Motion

The Infinity Core provides the foundation for the Quest Pearl’s explosive backend reaction. This is the same core used in the original Infinity Quest. Therefore, bowlers know exactly what backend motion to expect. The core’s shape and density distribution create strong angular motion at the breakpoint.

The core numbers vary by weight to optimize performance across the entire weight range. In 16 pounds, the RG is 2.531 with differential of 0.044 and asymmetry of 0.009. The 15-pound version shows RG 2.521, differential 0.051, and asymmetry 0.010.

Additionally, 14-pound balls feature RG 2.543, differential 0.051, and asymmetry 0.010. The 13-pound and 12-pound versions show RG values of 2.597 and 2.593 respectively. Both have differential of 0.041 and asymmetry of 0.014.

The moderate RG values create a balanced motion that isn’t overly early or late. The differential provides enough track flare for strong backend continuation. Meanwhile, the asymmetry adds predictability to the ball’s motion without creating excessive angular response.

✨ Factory Finish — Optimized for Length and Backend

The factory finish combines strategic surface preparation with high-gloss polish. The 500, 1000, 1500 Siaair progression creates a refined base surface. This process removes casting imperfections and establishes consistent texture.

Crown Factory Compound polish is then applied to create the final shiny finish. This polish fills microscopic pores in the coverstock surface. Consequently, the ball experiences minimal friction in the oil. The combination allows effortless length through the front of the lane.

The finish can be adjusted to fine-tune reaction for specific conditions. Bowlers wanting earlier roll can use 2000 or 3000 grit Abralon. This adds surface texture that creates earlier midlane read. Alternatively, reapplying polish extends length even further for extremely long patterns.

📊 Ball Performance Index: 82 — High Performance Flip

The Infinity Quest Pearl rates 82 on Brunswick’s Ball Performance Index. This places it in the High performance category. Additionally, it’s classified as a Flip ball, indicating strong angular backend motion rather than smooth, arcing reaction.

The performance rating of 82 positions the Quest Pearl above mid-performance balls but below the strongest offerings in Brunswick’s lineup. This makes it ideal for medium-light to medium oil conditions. Furthermore, it works well when stronger balls start hooking too early or burning energy in the midlane.

Compared to the original Infinity Quest (rated 81), the Pearl is one point higher on the chart. This reflects its cleaner front-end motion combined with continuation through the pins. The pearl coverstock reduces overall hook potential slightly. However, the increased backend angular motion compensates for this reduction.

🎨 Blue Pink Color Scheme — Eye-Catching Aesthetics

The Blue Pink color scheme creates a striking, dynamic appearance. The swirling pattern of blue and pink stands out visually on the lanes. This makes the ball easy to track and identify in your bag or on the ball return.

The color combination reflects the ball’s performance characteristics. Blue represents the ball’s controlled, stable motion through the front. Meanwhile, pink symbolizes the explosive, energetic backend reaction. Together, they visually communicate the skid-flip nature of the ball’s reaction.
