The Vexed line continues with the Radical Vexed Variant, featuring an updated version of the proven Vexed core. The signature 3-to-1 differential ratio that helped define the original Vexed’s motion remains intact, while an increase in total differential adds more flare and overall performance.

Paired with the HK22C+ Solid coverstock, the Vexed Variant generates noticeably earlier traction and more total hook than the original Vexed. Radical’s R&D testers consistently found the Variant to be the stronger overall option, giving bowlers a clear step up when they need more traction. It streets October 22, 2026 in Navy / Royal Blue.

Understanding the Radical Vexed Variant Asymmetric Core and Radical HK22C+ Solid Reactive

The Vexed Variant uses an updated asymmetric Vexed core: 2.490 RG, .045 differential and .015 intermediate differential at 15 lb, keeping the Vexed’s 3-to-1 differential ratio with more total differential. It is paired with the HK22C+ Solid cover at a 500, 2000 Siaair Micro Pad finish, designed for heavier oil. DynamiCore adds hitting power and durability. The 13 and 12 lb weights use a dedicated core (2.589 RG, .043 differential at 13 lb).

The Vexed Core, With More Differential

The Vexed Variant Asymmetric core is an updated version of the proven Vexed core. At 15 lb it measures a 2.490 RG, .045 differential and .015 intermediate differential. The signature 3-to-1 ratio between total and intermediate differential stays intact, which keeps the predictable, continuous motion the Vexed line is known for.

What changes is the total differential, up from .036 on the original Vexed to .045, which adds more flare and overall performance. As with the Evil Eye and the original Vexed, Radical has developed six drilling options to match the ball to your game. The 13 and 12 lb weights measure 2.589 / .043 / .011 and 2.612 / .043 / .011.

Earlier Traction for Heavier Oil

The Vexed Variant uses the HK22C+ Solid coverstock at a 500, 2000 Siaair Micro Pad finish. That sanded solid reads the lane early, and with the stronger core it generates noticeably earlier traction and more total hook than the original Vexed.

Designed for heavier oil conditions, it combines increased hook and flare potential with the strong, continuous motion needed to keep driving through the pins. DynamiCore in the core adds hitting power and durability.
